The Greastest Game of All Time

So yesterday I had the greatest game of disc-golf of all time. Not kidding. I shot a one under par. That's right mo-fo's I shot a one under. I am the greatest. You can't even get close to my stuff. So for your extreme pleasure I will expound upon my golf game by going hole by hole.

Game- Disc Golf
Player- Me (the greatest of all time)
Opponent- Steve, watch me suck, Hudgins
Course- El Dorado Park

Hole one, which is actually hole 10. We started there because there were about 4 teams of 10 people on holes ahead of us and we wanted to get moving. So we started on hole 10, which will be referred to as hole one for the sake of the story telling.

Hole 1- Steve Shot first and it was probably the only drive you could call a drive for the whole day. I shot my Valkyrie, which is a red ty-dye color, and it landed maybe 50 feet from the hole. Good drive. I then took my approach and it hit the rim of the basket. It's ok I made par on that hole...

Hole 2- I beat Steve on that hole so i started out the next hole. I drove the snot out of the disc. for those who know El Do, let me tell you where it landed. I made it straight ahead and it landed in the walking road, straight ahead. Now for those who say that's an o.b. (out of bounds) no, no. It is very visible on the map of the hole as being in bounds. My approach was a thing of beauty. It landed right at the bottom of the basket.

Hole 3- this is the longest hole on the course. It wasn't at the furthest position, it was at the second furthest. So it still takes a lot to par it. My drive was a good rip, but I released it a little high, so it skimmed the trees and fell, but I still had a good shot at the basket. My approach, which is more like a second drive because of distance, Was probably my best secondary drive. I used my Orc and it landed about 30 feet from the basket. My putt hit the basket rim. So close to parring the hardest hole on the course. So I then hit the second putt which put me one over par.

It is important to realize that I don't handle failure very well. I stayed calm and I was composed. The next hole, well keep reading, you'll see.

Hole 4- I had the best drive i have ever had in the realm of accuracy combined with distance. I shot my Valkyrie, and it was perfect. The position was the middle position. you need to shoot straight and I did. I landed maybe 10 feet from the basket. I made the putt and that sent me to an even par.

So my score right now is Zero. we keep score by over or under par, it helps to not do so much math.

Hole 5- Drive was an easy release. I shot my QJLS, it doesn't go as far as the others but I can control it more than the others. It went just past the trees on the left side. that gave me a straight shot on the basket which was at the bottom of the hill, not in the tree circle. I parred that hole.

Hole 6- This was the shot that was the confidence booster. I have never been so accurate on a drove on that whole. for those who are keeping track, this is the hole that is lined up against the "real" golf course. When I released the disc, i thought i released it too far to the right. I got a great rip on the disc though. I mean it was a good rip. I landed 20 feet from the basket. I made par.

Hole 7- My best drive on this hole. I hit the mandies and I went right down the gullet of the beast. My Valkyrie staid tried and true to me. He flew straight and far. My rip was on that day. I parred this hole.

Hole 8- The hole that gave me my best putt of the day. My drive was good, but not great. I didn't get the distance I was hoping for, but i still got on top of the side hill, which gave me the best chance at the basket. For those who know my game, I have no mid range game. This was a mid range opportunity. I released my rhino and it flew hard left. I miss where i was aiming by about 20 feet. The moment of truth was there for me. I had the chance to either lay it up and take the guaranteed bogey without chancing a double bogey, or i could be a man and go for the gold. Well, I found my pair and I went for it. It was the best putt I have ever had. It didn't float it, it hit hard and strong. It was perfect. That putt saved par for me.

Hole 9- this hole is where my confidence lives. I'm not sure why, but I never do too bad on this hole. I'm just confident about it. My drive is released and the rip is good, I mean real good. I thought i released the disc too far right but the Orc, my baby, has a hard dip left at the end of the rotation. I landed maybe 15 feet from the basket. I nailed the putt and was one under.

After the "front" 9 i was one under.

Hole 10(which is really hole one)- I have a lot of trouble making the mandatory on this hole. But i stood there with the confidence of my current score. I made the mandatory and it left me with a perfect chance to make par. I shot my approach and it landed maybe five feet from the hole. I parred this hole.

Hole 11- I shot my Valkyrie, and I have never shot my Valkyrie so consistently. It was beautiful. I was too far right but it ended up going through the trees and landed in the clear. My approach put me 2 feet from the basket. Steve got mad and kicked my disc. I still made the putt from far out.

Hole 12- My QJLS is my disc for this hole. There is no other disc I would rather use. I shot it and the hies er was perfect. It hugged the tree line and landed just past the basket. It was an easy putt, but because I was shooting uphill, I didn't get the Disc high enough to beat the lip. My bad, but I still parred it. Current score is still 1 under par.

Hole 13(or four)- this hole you have to keep your drive low to avoid the trees. The basket was at the furthest position. My drive was a descent rip, but I released it too high. My approach saved me. My approach landed right under the basket. Again I parred the hole.

Hole 14- My drive was exactly what I wanted but it skipped when it hit the ground and pushed me out of birdie range. I made the putt for par. nothing exciting on this hole.

Hole 15- My drive was off. there is this green monster that eats my disc every time. So I was trying too hard to avoid the monster. My disc went left and hit a tree that was not too far down the path. This is my moment of truth. I have no short game and i pulled out my cheetah. I can't really control the distance with my cheetah. I made my best approach with the cheetah. I parred the hole.

Hole 16- this is a tough hole. I parred only once before. I was a little nervous, but I was one under and it would have been OK with me if I ended at an even par. I made a great drive. It was low and accurate. It popped me out just on the other side of the tree line on the right. I had 2 good putts and I hit par.

Hole 17- This is my toma-hawk hole. this is where I through my disc like a toma-hawk. I made the through and it landed perfectly. I hit par.

OK let's review. This is so far my best game of all time. I can't tell you how happy I am at this point. no matter what happens on hole 18 I am satisfied with how I have been playing.

Hole 18- My heart is pumping because of the potential that you can taste in the air. The potential for greatness. I took my drive and it went too far left and hit a tree. I staid composed and this is important. I had no line for the basket. My mind started to come to grippes with the fact that I may have to settle for my best score being par, which i have never done. I grabbed my cheetah. I released it perfectly, I bent around the large tree landed 4 feet from the basket. My heart was over joyed. I made my putt and I had the biggest smile on my face for the next, well I still have that smile.

I called everyone important to me, so no one. Just kidding, I called a couple of people who would care. They celebrated with me in that congrats, I don't know why you're calling me, kind of way. That was the best day of disc golf ever. thanks for reading, the next post will be more important than this one. Maybe I'll talk about God or something, who knows. Remember to check back.

Today's the first day of the rest of My life

I'll be honest. I'm not real sure why anyone would want to read this. But here it goes. This blog is going to be intended to stimulate interest in my life. Since there is little to none of that anywhere to be found, I will make a concerted effort to draw attention to the wonders of who I am. For example, tonight I went bowling after church. I made a gesture that was of the taunting varity after I picked up an easy spair. At the time that my celestial move was finished, I mean at the peak of the finished product, my pants slit wide open. They didn't just tear, no no. They burst wide open. To make matters worse, they happened to split right down crotch area. From the side of the fly to about mid thigh. It was a thing of beauty. Well, for me it was. As for everyone else, it was a time to reflect on how valuable Pepto is to the stomach...

So what do I do at this point? the answer is laugh for about 20 mins, then ask to go to my buddy Shaun's place to barrow some pants so that we can enjoy the rest of our bowling extravaganza. Mind you, this is on the 4th frame of the first game. I got a change of pants and the game continued. I bowled some of the worse scores in my current memory. Going to prove that, it isn't the bowler's talent rather his/her pants that make the pins fall.

This is what you can come to see as being the greatest blog session of all time. I will try to keep this updated. So leave comments so that i know you are watching/reading/living/experiencing the greatness of Uhtang.
