Fasting Sucks

So this year I gave up video games for Lent. It sucks. I'm a baseball fan and this is the time of year where I climb into my cave of obsession and play a full season of baseball on the 360, to see how I would handle my year with the Dodgers. DODGER BLUE!!! Anyway, I gave up video games like an idiot and realized what sacrifice is. The continual reminder that Christ gave up everything so we could enjoy God's everything in heaven. I can't express enough at how much I have learned from this little experiment. I can't express because I am too pissed that I chose video games. But all is good the world. I'm not going to kill anyone anytime soon. So don't worry you are all safe. I do know this, when Sunday roles around I will be spending some time with Nomar, Furcal, Kent, Schmidt, Pierre, and a few others, well the video versions of themselves, on that Sunday. So long world. I won't be seeing you for a couple weeks after Lent. I'm breaking fast in a big way.
